Meet the Team

In Jae Lee
In Jae is a junior studying BBA and PPE (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics) at the University of Michigan. In Jae came to the United States when he was eleven years old to experience a more well-rounded educational experience and came to University of Michigan to find his passion through his studies. In Jae decided to join EDUpreneurship not just because he saw numerous problems with education, but because he also saw great opportunities for the United States to lead the world in new age of education through collaborative effort between all stakeholders in education beyond test scores & beyond current method of teaching & learning. He is optimistic.

Darren Hou

Currently studying economics. Other than spending my nights fighting crime in a bat suit, I enjoy painting, leisurely reading, and working on coming up with the next big thing. I joined EDUpreneurship because it addresses education issues with entrepreneurship in mind. There is an array of issues that the current American education system faces today; I believe that the best way to remedy the situation is by utilizing private entrepreneurship to promote a different kind of education focused on generating creativity and individual thought.

Dejan Rankovic

I am BBA student at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. I've had a great and fortunate experience with my education all my life. My strong relationships with my teachers, classmates and school extracurriculars has played a substantial influence in my personal development. I'm proud of who I am and I wake up every morning excited to make my next impact in the world. I believe that each and every student should be as fortunate as I was in having that strong relationship with "education". And with this handsome and talented team we have assembled, I believe we can make it happen!

Jae Nam

My adventure with education began with an inspiration. A single spark. I imagined where I would be and what I would be doing if school were different growing up. I wondered, would I be a different person if I were challenged more?  I realized education had the greatest impact in defining who I am today. I joined EDUpreneurship so that I could help others express their talents--whatever they may be.

Jeff Zhang

Notoriously charismatic, shamelessly awkward, and unabashedly blunt. Boy, man, character, and Shanghai urban legend; all in all a person of interest. His habit for embellishment and exaggeration aside, Jeff Zhang is a simple man. Just another someone journeying his way towards happiness, another college student in a period of discovery. Jeff Zhang is a sophomore studying informatics at the University of Michigan. His interests include Reddit, writing, slam poetry, and recreational photobombing.

Omead Sinai

I am currently a freshman in the College of Literature, Science & the Arts and I plan to apply to the Ross School of Business in the spring. I enjoy playing soccer, eating in the cafeteria, and checking Facebook. I joined EDUpreneurship because I wanted to take my interests in entrepreneurship and pursue it through a different vantage point that has been a crucial part of my life.
